It was a beautiful spring day at the UBC Campus for pictures! Here’s my friend Betty who did an awesome job in helping me get some practice in. Enjoy!
It was the perfect ending to the most imperfect of starts. A gold medal in our game, in our home and 2 Olympics records set. The streets were flooded with red and white, chants, cheers and O’Canada’s. What turned out to be one of the oldest international sporting events was the spark Vancouver needed to show its pride for Canada. You’ll be missed.
We’re almost at the end of a 2 weeks I’ll never forget! I’ll admit, I was skeptical and hyper-critical about the Olympics, but I’ve really enjoyed them. All the rowdy fans, Canadian nationalism (which you never see in Vancouver) and both the exciting and emotional moments of the games. I know we’ll be telling our kids about the last two weeks and this once in a life time experience! So here are some more pictures and certainly not all of them. Here are some from the Short Track speed skating event I went to with my family and although it ended in disappointment with no metals, it was still awesome. The women performed in the 1500m and the men in the 1000m
Hey everyone! So I’ve gone through a couple hundred pictures and they’re all uploaded onto my Flickr, but I’ve still got some more from Saturday’s short track speed skating. It’s been a crazy down here! I’ve never seen so much pride for Canada. Here are just a few of them:

So this is post number 100!!! Thanks everyone for all the visits! Now when midterms are over I’ll be able to finally enjoy my break!
